This Traction-Lok Differential from Ford Performance (formerly Ford Racing) is a direct fit replacement on your S550 Mustang and will maintain the high-quality that Ford Racing has set. Designed to fit an 8.8" rear end, this differential is intended to be used with Ford Racing's 3.31, 3.55, 3.73 or 4.09 Super 8.8 Gear Sets. Accommodating 34-spline axles, Ford Performance manufactures this differential with limited slip. This will transfer 100% of torque to each rear wheel simultaneously, allowing both wheels to put the power down on the ground for increased traction and a better overall driving experience. Installing Ford Performance's traction-lok differential to your 2015-2023 Mustang will support a solid rear-end or new Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) installation.
